Clickmarks announces Presentation
Level Integration for Oracle Forms
applications
FREMONT, CALIFORNIA - March 24,
2003
Clickmarks, a provider of software
solutions for web and wireless application
development, announced today the
preview release of its Oracle Forms
Connector, allowing for effortless
integration of legacy Oracle Forms
applications into new arenas, including
Mobile Solutions and Portal Solutions.
Using the Oracle Forms Connector,
companies can now extend their legacy
Oracle Forms applications beyond
the web. Clickmarks' patented PLI
technology allows for unprecedented
flexibility in extracting specific
interactions with the Oracle Forms
application, and re-using those
interactions in new applications
such as wireless applications and
portlets, all with a minimum in
coding, and with absolutely zero
downtime of the legacy application.
These interactions can be turned
into web services, for easy integration
via third-party development tools,
or can be turned into wireless or
portlet applications directly from
the Clickmarks Studio. The Oracle
Forms Connector can thus be used
by both Systems Integrators and
Corporate IT departments to deliver
new solutions based on existing
legacy application functionality
to their customers.
"The release of the Oracle
Forms connector demonstrates Clickmarks'
ongoing commitment to change the
way software integration is done.",
said Quinton Zondervan, CTO of Clickmarks."Incorporating
your legacy Oracle Forms applications
into webservices, portals or wireless
applications is now significantly
easier and cheaper than ever before."
